Paper Weights & Sizes

What are the measurements of standard printing paper sizes & weights (thickness)?

Using our large format printer, the Epson Stylus Pro 9800, we can print on paper, vinyl and canvas up to approximately 1,100mm wide and as long as you like. Printing on paper smaller than SRA3 or A3 gives you the opportunity of using a larger range of paper weights, up to 350gsm card.

SRA3

This oversized paper size is used by printers. The dimensions in millimetres are rounded to the nearest value. SRA3 is the largest size card we print on.

Paper Weights

The Colour Copy Shop has a range of paper sizes, weights and colours, including card, vinyl and canvas, to suit all types of printing jobs. Generally we will consult with the client on what type of paper is best suited for a certain job. Sometimes the client has certain requirements which most of the time we have no trouble meeting, we also have had customers bring in their own decorative paper for jobs such as party invitations, which is fine by us.

160gsm Paper	Heavy weight premium quality Used for laser colour printing & copying SRA3/A3/A4 sizes

200gsm to 350gsm Paper	Heavy stock premium paper Used for business cards, book covers, etc. SRA3/A3/A4 sizes

150gsm to 350gsm Card	We have a range of card in different weights. Also available in colours which is great for time sheets, job cards, etc. SRA3/A3/A4 sizes

Recycled Paper	Recycled paper is also available upon request.

Plan Printer	Our plan printer uses rolls of quality 80gsm paper. B0/A1 and smaller sizes

Large Format Printing	Available in plain, matt, semi-gloss, gloss, vinyl and canvas Maximum width approx. 1100mm, no maximum length.
